Like me you might have had to print number of pages directly through web. And because most websites are not cleaned for printing purpose, either you end up printing lots of pages, which wastes your paper,ink and money. Or prints unnecessary information too, such as pop ups, adverts etc.
But if you had a programme that would strip all the unnecessary information than that would be very useful.
I tried with our sister office supplies website (which is very busy site I know). I used our homepage and than visited www.PrintWhatYouLike.com entered my URL (Website address), and after few seconds gave me enough options to customise the page. Helped me remove the unwanted banners, ads etc. And only left the information which was relevant that I wanted to print. Not sure how it would work with a secure pages, but for now, if ever I wanted to print through web, I am using this tool. Its fantastic and the bottom line is If it helps me save on my ink consumption it helps me save my pocket.
I think the website is still under work in progress. Which website isn’t huh? Do it for Me button needs attention so I would still manually make all the changes.
Go on try it. There is no download involved, no printing involved, but would save this valuable information few to hundreds of pounds in your lifetime.
